The Automatic ATS Switch supports up t0 whopping 30A and is a new product in our portfolio of energy switching products that automatically transfers your power from Eskom when the grid goes down and cuts over to your backup system (UPS, Inverter or generator). This Automatic Transfer Switch model will switch your grid power to your backup power automatically with NO LOSS OF POWER! No need to swap your devices in and out of different plugs / sockets during load shedding in order to get power. You just carry on working uninterrupted with – you wont even know there is load shedding!
When Eskom restores power, the Automatic ATS Switch – will switch back again from your backup system to normal Eskom power. No more running around plugging things in and out of different backup power devices when the lights go on or off. By plugging in the Automatic Transfer Switch – ATS you can be up and running in less than 5 Minutes – a truly Plug n Play design.

Simple and easy instructions as listed below;
Simply insert the white plug into the 220v Wall socket of your home that’s connected to your DB Board
- Connect the second plug (black) to the 220v OUTPUT of your Generator, UPS, Backup battery / invertor (that sends power to your home /devices when there is load shedding).
- Connect your devices (TV, Computer, Printer, Router, Lights etc.) to the strip connecter from the ATS.
- The RED light indicates Grid Power is on and the Green light indicate there is Backup Power connected.
The ATS will always switch automatically to Grid power when the grid power is back on. If you want to connect to your DB Board then you will need the ATS Buddy PRO.
